David Hunt serves as Treasurer of Gospel In Action Missions, Inc., bringing a background in accounting, financial stewardship, and a lifelong foundation in faith. Born into a Christian family, David was introduced to missions at an early age, and later came to know Christ personally while returning to the United Kingdom as a teenager.

After high school, David served as an accounting specialist in the United States Army and later worked in customer service, insurance, and banking. Through his professional and educational experience, including formal bookkeeping training, he developed the skills and attention to detail that support his role in overseeing GIAM’s financial operations.

David has a deep passion for children and youth ministry. He is actively involved in his local church, where he helps lead and support youth activities, hosts events, and sponsors church camp opportunities. He also serves as a Gideon and participates in jail ministry, sharing the Word of God and encouraging others through outreach beyond the church walls. His heart is centered on leading others to Christ and helping young believers grow in their relationship with Jesus. Over the years, he has also written faith‑based stories that teach the importance of salvation and a personal relationship with Christ.

David’s love for teaching is uniquely expressed through his interest in trains, often using them as an illustration of faith—demonstrating how strength, purpose, and direction are found when guided by a reliable engineer, just as believers are guided by Christ toward their eternal destination. Through his faithfulness and servant’s heart, David plays an important role in supporting the mission and integrity of Gospel In Action Missions.

Looking ahead, David and his wife feel called to serve more directly in the mission field and are prayerfully planning a future move to Uganda to help support the work of GIAM on location.
